Dear Friends,

As your State Senator, I have worked hard to earn your trust and support. During my years in the Legislature, I have remained steadfast in my commitment to the issues that unite us and never lost sight of our priorities: protecting our schools, creating jobs, and safeguarding the services that middle class families and seniors depend on in tough times.

As our state has faced some of the toughest challenges in a generation, I provided the leadership Oregon needs to make hard decisions in your state capitol. I have:

• Protected our schools during the recession.
• Made critical state investments to jumpstart private sector jobs and create a climate for economic recovery.
• Protected the services that middle class families and seniors depend on in tough times.

In fighting for these priorities, it has been my honor to represent the residents of District 19, including Lake Oswego, Southwest Portland, Tualatin, West Linn, Dunthorpe, Durham and Rivergrove. With your support, I will continue to work hard to protect our state for current and future generations of Oregonians.
